Boolean VS Proboolean
If you are a true fan of 3DS Max;), you would never get acquainted with the features this one ...
ie Boolean. This feature is very familiar among users use 3DS Max, especially those who are often involved making objects Architectural Modeling, machinery / automotive and product design. Boolean very useful to unify (Union), making the intersection (Intersection) or cut (Substraction) 2 pieces or more 3D objects.

Well to overcome, 3DS Max 9 provides new features that are similar to Boolean, ie ProBoolean. This feature provides a solution to the problems faced when using ordinary Boolean.
How to use both of these features are as follows:
1 Create objects as shown in the picture. Activate the Perspective viewport and press the F4 key to see Edge dikeyboard Faces of objects in the Viewport.
2 you select the Box object that is on the left, then you give Boolean Compound Object.
3 Click the Pick Operand B and you click on one of the Cylinder object that penetrates the Box.
4 Click the Select by Name button.
5. Then you select a Boolean return, and then click Pick Operand B button and you click on another cylinder that penetrates the Box. Similarly repeatedly until you click the Cylinder fourth all. Thus making the results as shown below.
6 Now you select the Box object on the right and give Compound Object ProBoolean
7 Click the Start Picking button and you click the fourth straight object such Box Cylinder which penetrate. (in contrast to Boolean, ProBoolean can be done directly without having to repeat one by one).
8 The result will look like in the picture. You will see the results of Boolean operations Box object will "ruin" Segment of the Box object and method-operasiannya lawyer must be done one by one.
